◆ IN-DEPTH CHILD READING TRACKER
Right now, there are a ton of reading logs and book trackers on the App Store, but those were made by adults, for adults, and don’t work for children and young teenagers. Our app will not only tell you what your child is reading, but it will also tell you if they are ever:

- skipping paragraphs or entire sections
- how much time they spend reading and at what time – day or not,
- whether they are reading the book or something else entirely
- if their reading speed is up to their grade level, and the accuracy of their pronunciation while reading

This in-depth reading log allows you to save time and get your kid to read more without you physically being there. Just say it’s reading time, turn the app on and have your kid read out loud. The app will track everything and you can reward your childs progress in a customized way. Let’s face it with small incentives, your kid will be motivated to read more and this will prove extremely beneficial in the long-term.

◆ HOW IT WORKS
- Your child tells Reading Starz what book they are reading by scanning the barcode on the cover of the book.
- They either start reading out loud from the beginning or pick up where the left off when they last read.
- The Reading Starz app will recognize your child’s speech and compare it to a digital copy of the book in our database.
- Your child’s progress in the book will then be stored in the app so both you and your child can go back and check their logs anytime.
- If a part of skipped, no matter how big or small, or is read with long pauses or mispronunciations, the app with record that for your later review as well! This way, when you do have time to read with your child, you can spend time addressing the words or sentences that they missed and let them shine on the parts you know they are already good at!
- Celebrate however you and your child like! The app doesn’t restrict you and your children to an in-app rewards system, so you can choose whatever motivational tactic you already know works with them.
